Welcome to my page, My name is Mia! I’m a Junior graphic designer from Dorset, England. My passion first started in year 9, when I chose media at GCSE, thinking it would just be watching and analysing films, well it turns out that its so much more than that! We were tasked with creating a DVD cover and poster for a thriller film and I got full marks! This was my first time being introduced to design, and I instantly fell in love. Since then, I have been working on passion projects in my spare time to allow my skills to grow! After college, I hope to go to university and eventually become a full time graphic designer!
Creative Process
My artistic process includes research, moodboarding/idea generation (its a must!), planning, and finally, onto the making. I usually remake the designs a couple times before finishing the final design!
I’m a junior graphic designer with a strong focus on branding and visual identity. I’m skilled at turning ideas into cohesive brand elements like logos, colour palettes and typography, which speak clearly to target audiences. I’m proficient in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and I work well on collaborative projects. I value hard work, perfection and collaboration. Furthermore, taking feedback onboard helps me to manage multiple projects, producing quality work in time for tight deadlines.
